Este martes se dio a conocer la lista de nominaciones para los premios Oscar 2023, que se llevarán a cabo el próximo 12 de Marzo, en donde figuran tres directores mexicanos; Guillermo del Toro con “Pinocchio”, Alejandro González Iñarritu con Bardo: Falsa crónica de unas cuantas verdades y Alfonso Cuaró con “Le Pupille”.
Del Toro fue nominado en la categoría de Mejor Película Animada con su recién estrenado; González Iñárritu a Mejor Fotografía y Alfonso Cuarón, galardonado con el Oscar a Mejor Película Extranjera por “Roma”, contiende en la categoría de Mejor Cortometraje.
En Mejor Pelicúla Animada están nominadas también; “Marcel the Shell With Shoes On” de Dean Fleischer Camp, “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” de Joel Crawford, “The Sea Beast” de Chris Williams y “Turning Red” de Domee Shi una animadora, directora y guionista gráfica china-canadiense.
Mientras que en la categoría Mejor Fotografía están; “All Quiet on the Western Front” de Edward Berger, “Elvis” de Baz Luhrmann, “Empire of Light” de Sam Mendes y “Tár” de Todd Field.
Por su parte, la producción Sin novedad en el frente (All quiet on the western front) lidera las nominaciones contendiendo en un total de 9 categorías incluida Mejor Película y Mejor Guión Adaptado.
Todo en Todas Partes al Mismo Tiempo (Evything Everywhere all at once) también lideró varias categorías incluida Mejor Película, Mejor Director y Mejor Actriz.
